These terms apply when you use the Edu Code League app and the website educodeleague.com. When you create an account or use the service, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Each account is for one person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account.
- If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must agree to your use of the service.
- Tell us immediately if you think someone else is using your account.
Learning content
Lessons, videos, questions, mock exams, solutions and the interface belong to Edu Code League or its licensors. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, re-upload, resell or distribute exams and solutions without our written permission.
Edu Code League is not part of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. Mock exams are written for practice. Mock results do not replace or reliably predict official exam results.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Cheat in tests or mock exams, including using several accounts, sharing answers during an exam or having someone else take it.
- Create fake accounts to collect referral rewards, Tyms or stars.
- Use automated tools, tamper with the app or call the API directly to collect rewards, change scores or scrape data.
- Reverse engineer or modify the app, or try to get around technical limits.
- Use a name or avatar that is offensive, impersonates someone or breaks the law.
We may remove scores, withdraw rewards, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Tyms, stars and in-app rewards
Tyms, stars, XP and streak freezes are in-app units. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred. We may change how you earn and use them. They are not refunded when an account is deleted.
Premium and payments
- Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. The price is shown in the app before you pay.
- Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) charges your store account. We do not receive or store card details.
- The plan renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play.
- After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow the Apple or Google policy.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a plan.
- When a price changes, the app store tells you under its own rules.
Prize mock exams
Some national mock exams award prizes. The rules of each exam, including dates, ranking method (first attempt or best attempt), prizes and how to claim them, are published in the app. We may review results and cancel prizes for attempts that show signs of cheating. Cash prizes are paid in Vietnamese dong. Winners are responsible for any tax under Vietnamese law.
Ads and third-party content
The app shows reward videos from Google AdMob, and some video lessons play through YouTube. We are not responsible for third-party content or policies.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or when the law requires it.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep the service stable and the content accurate, but we provide the service as is. We do not promise that the service is always available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Edu Code League is not liable for indirect losses that come from using the service.
App store terms
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. We try to settle disputes by negotiation first. If that fails, a competent court in Vietnam decides the dispute.
Changes to these terms
When we make an important change, we update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
